“I am a FORCE”

“Walking into the photo session, I was full of nerves and resistance. I almost didn’t go through with it. I didn’t feel ready or confident enough. By the end of the shoot, I felt exhilarated — lighter, freer, and honestly, empowered in a way I didn’t expect. It turned out to be not just a photography session, but an experience of reclaiming myself. I laughed, I connected, I saw myself differently.

Then came the moment of seeing the photographs — and I was absolutely thrilled. But what struck me most was how I felt looking at myself. I didn’t pick apart flaws or focus on imperfections. Instead, I felt proud. Proud of my body — for everything it’s carried me through, for its curves, its scars, its story.

If a friend were thinking about doing this, I would tell them: do it. Even if you’re scared. Especially if you’re scared. Because on the other side is something truly powerful. Mel is not just a photographer — she’s a beautiful soul who helps sees yourself in a whole new light” - Vera 🥰
