Hell no! Everything you see in my photographs is all my direction, all you have to do is show up and leave the rest to me.
There is no such thing as being photogenic, it is my job to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and photograph you in the most beautiful way and you have to trust I can see it. When you are comfortable you let you guard down and that is when your light shines and the magic begins to happen. I know what beautiful looks like and I can capture it. When you are most afraid of doing something, it is pretty exciting to challenge yourself to do it. I challenge you to sit in front of my camera and give me the opportunity to see what I can see, but more importantly show you what other people see when they look at you. Remember I will help you every step of the way to prepare you and guide you through the photography session.
I will help you select your outfits for your photo shoot. This will be more fun than you realise and you will be surprised what you find in the back of your cupboard. Keep it simple, is my motto. There are lots of examples in my gallery and preparation guide to give you ideas.
Better yet, you also have the option to book in Emma K Willmann, a professional style coach and personal stylist, to help you with your looks.
Emma will assist you via a video chat to go through your wardrobe and select your outfits you wear for your shoot. Emma styles women based on personality, core identity and how you want to see yourself, so rest assured that she is going to have you looking and feeling your best.
Your preparation guide will be emailed to you shortly after booking your session. It covers everything from preparing your face, body and mind, what to wear, what to bring and the do’s and dont’s. We will also have a pre consultation via the phone to help you prepare and decide what to wear.
YES, MOST DEFINITELY! During the pre-consultation we will discuss with you what you are comfortable having exposed in the photographs e.g. legs, bras and undies, bare back. It is totally up to you!
I happily remove blemishes and bruises, but I don’t remove anything that is permanent such as a scar (unless you specifically ask to remove the scar) as they are part of your story.
I would love to say yes but I preserve these for my family, friends and my dog Jemma (who is also my family!) I am a Monday to Friday studio by appointment only.
Yes you can. You can view my digital collection here . Please know that the best way to archive (preserve) your photographs to pass them onto your loved ones, is to have them printed. I truly believe holding your print is the most beautiful way to for you to connect with your photograph.
My studio is located in Norman Park, Brisbane Qld. You will receive the address with your photography session confirmation. There is plenty of street parking.
Not without your permission! You will have full control as to what happens with your digital files – you may not want them on the internet at all or only want anonymous ones where I can’t see your face. I will always totally respect your wishes. As you know I do love to share the photographs and am always truly grateful if you are comfortable with this, but it is always with written permission first.
Your Ordering Appointment with me will be live online via ZOOM. I will share my screen with you so you can see your photographs online. You will see all my products at your photography session where you can select what products you prefer e.g. album or portrait box and the type of wall art you prefer e.g. framed prints or ice mount glass. This will help make the decision process easier.
Your photo shoot is $300 to book in. My Collections (photographs) start at $1600 and go up from there. Most of my client’s spend on average, $3000 for their photographs. Pre payment plans are available (interest free) to suit your budget. Click here to view my pricing and products.
