In Australia, 1 in 7 women are diagnosed with Breast Cancer by the time they reach the age of 85.
And many of us will be touched by this devastating disease in some way – whether it be a sister, daughter, mother, best friend or simply knowing someone affected.
At Mel Watt Photography we’re on a “mission”. A mission to raise much needed funds for Mater Chicks in Pink who fund free and personalised breast cancer support services, plus items such as mastectomy bras, wigs and scarves which create a significant impact.
I’m looking for women aged 40-70+ to create a “MOVEMENT”.
A movement to give hope, courage and illuminate how brave, beautiful and resilient our bodies truly are.
A movement of women taking a stand against feeling flawed and shame about our bodies.
A movement to celebrate how perfectly imperfect we really are and the tenacity to be unapologetically YOU.
And I want YOU to be part of this Movement!

- A Pre Styling Consultation Call
- 2 Hour In Studio No Makeup Photo Shoot

Yes, you are doing this for YOU! My mission is to show YOU ARE ENOUGH just as you are RIGHT NOW.
I see the female form as “art” no matter the shape or size. There is no such thing as being photogenic, it is my job to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. This is when your real light shines.
You’ll feel like a model in the most fun and gentle way. It is about embracing who you are, your inner beauty and building confidence. This will be a new world of feeling beautiful, proud and confident with no makeup.
The women you see on my gallery are not professional models, they are women just like you who are guided by me in every pose. With my positive and comfortable space your nerves will just drop away. You don’t need to know how to pose or move in front of the camera, all you have to do is just turn up and leave the rest to me…I dare you.

There is no such thing as being photogenic. I will help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, photograph you in the most beautiful way and you have to trust I can see it. I will help you take up space and own who you are, that is your inner power. This is when you let your guard down and the magic begins to happen…. I will see your light shine inside you and your true authentic self becomes more visible. That is what I want to photograph for you, your inner beauty. What you thought were your imperfections become your perfect imperfections. When you are most afraid of doing something, it is pretty exciting to challenge yourself to do it. I challenge you to sit in front of my camera and give me the opportunity to see what I can see, but more importantly show you what other people love about you. Remember I will help you every step of the way to prepare you and guide you through the photography session. My studio is a beautiful safe space with stunning soft light. You would be surprised how many clients have walked away with photographs they love who have said the same thing.
I say fill out the form! I understand this can be scary, but once you arrive at my studio your nerves will disappear because you will be having so much fun and my studio will feel safe and warm. None of my clients walk away feeling nervous after their shoot with me, instead they feel like they are floating on air, liberated, powerful and the most beautiful woman in the world. At the end of the day I am guided by your energy and my mission is to help you feel as relaxed as possible so you forget you have a camera pointed at you. You will connect with your inner child and experience having fun like you never have before. Have you looked at my gallery? Do they look nervous? They all forget about the fact that they were being photographed. If we don’t embrace fear and try new experiences we don’t grow as a person. It is not just about the photographs and the end product, it is about the whole experience.

I am a master of light and shadow and you would be surprised how beautiful you are when you smile. I would love to show who you are and your inner beauty without makeup as this is your most true authentic self. It is very liberating to be able to just show up as you are, be seen for the person you are and say ‘this is me’.
